Jasleen Bains, Co-founder and President

I am passionate about human rights. I aspire to increase youth involvement in pressing global issues, because we are the future. The world depends on youth to lead these efforts with innovation and local projects that have global impact. Volunteering for global goals facilitates a cosmopolitan culture that is necessary for international human rights standards and active communities.

Jessica Tran, Director of Poverty Relief

I am a second year Applied Mathematics major with a specialization in computing! As one of the directors of poverty relief, I look forward to helping alleviate some struggles the impoverished may face, and serving the community of UCLA!



Marisa Goff, Director of Poverty Relief

I am a first year double majoring in MIMG and Political Science! I look forward to taking actions in the local and global communities to raise awareness about poverty and work help the people who have been affected by it.

Hello! I am a third year majoring in Political Science and I am excited to serve as Secretary. I think it is important for youth to be engaged in UN issues and I hope you'll join us in supporting the goals and principles of the United Nations in our student community here at UCLA.



Tiffany Do, Director of Gender Equality

I am a Junior majoring in Sociology and minoring in Labor & Workplace Studies. I hope to work with UNA at UCLA to tackle issues of gender inequality in our modern world, and especially raise awareness about human trafficking.



Khaliunaa Bayarsaikhan, Director of Public Relations

I am a third year Political Science major with a concentration in International Relations and Global Studies minor. As one of the directors of Public Relations, I would try to spead the goals and principles of our organization effectively. I would like our UCLA community to join and support the UN and their works. If we all work together, we definitely can make a change.

Linda Huang, Director of Health

I am a third year Neuroscience student. I am passionate about health care and hope to pursue a career that helps reducing healthcare inequities. I look forward to take actions in raising awareness for child mortality, epidemic diseases, and other global health issues with all the amazing members of UNA!



Kitu Komya, Director of Health

As a first year MIMG major and bioinformatics minor, global health has become a primary interest of mine. My aim is to both understand and tackle the health disparities that exist among diverse populations, while also educating and bringing awareness of such prevalent concerns to my community, specifically to the youth. Youth activists are instrumental in promoting policies, programs, and attitudes and also in sharing novel, unbiased solutions. Together, we will make a difference.

Ruswin Sandhu, Director of Finance

I am a third year Economic major with a minor in accouting. I joined the UNA because I believe it is a great platform for students to come together and ignite the change that they want to see take place. We are the future and the goals and and principles set out by the United Nations is a great first step to shaping ours.

Paddy ( Yue) Tu , Director of Finance

I am a third year Biochemistry major with an accounting minor. I hope I can be part of the UNA to raise awareness of global issues among college students. Aiming to serve the community of UCLA, UNA will be a great platform for us to work together and make a difference.
